Marguerite Kirmse (American, 1885-1954) Home. Signed "Marguerite Kirmse" in pencil l.r., titled in pencil l.l. Etching on paper, plate size 6 5/8 x 4 5/8 in. (16.8 x 11.7 cm), framed. Condition: Subtle toning and foxing, not examined out of frame. Provenance: From the Estates of Mary Ann and Frederick Lippitt, Providence, Rhode Island. The sheet is toned to the color of latte. There is pinpoint foxing, primarily visible to the margins. Although it has not been removed from its frame, there are no other visible condition issues to report.
