Artist-Designed Enamel and Gem-set Brooch, Henryk Kaston, after The Eye of Time, by Dali, 1941, the enamel dial framed by pave-set diamond melee and channel-set baguettes, ruby cabochon accent, platinum and 18kt gold mount, wd. 1 5/8 x 1 in., signed. Note: Kaston, whose work has been exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Vatican, and the Smithsonian, is the only living jeweler to have worked with Dali. Of this image, Dalí said: 'One cannot flee from time, nor change it. The eye sees the present and the future'. Kaston Eye ruby has a minute cavity (nice color but typical cabochon material) enamel without problems, diamonds face up white signed DALI and KASTON
