British Brass-mounted Camphorwood Campaign Chest, mid 19th century, the two part case fitted with two short drawers, one fitted as a secretaire drawer, and three long drawers, on toupee feet, ht. 39, wd. 41, dp. 18 in. Surface essentially scrubbed off down to bare wood; top with waterstaining; corrosion and pitting to all mounts. One front drawer with horizontal crack.
