Chinese Export Silver Circular Tray, third quarter 19th century, marks possibly for Chang-Hsing, the sculpted border decorated with two dragons in pursuit of a flaming pearl, all along a cloudwork ground, the center engraved with a scene of a figure in an outdoor pavilion with characters in the borders, dia. 10 7/8 in., approx. 18 troy oz. Pearl with two dents, footrim compressed into center section; minor denting and surface scratching; footrim crimped; age typical overall wear.
