Louis Vuitton (French, founded 1854). A tan monogram canvas large Babylone tote bag or purse of curved trapezoidal form with double leather shoulder straps to top extending down body of bag to a matching band of leather around oval foot of bag, the single compartment interior lined in tan suede, one side of bag with zippered pocket and the alternate side with two open pockets, with top zip closure. Impressed mark to interior on leather below zippered pocket "Louis Vuitton Paris, Made in France". Rivets each marked "Louis Vuitton". Zipper pulls each marked "LV". Date code on leather tab to interior of zippered pocket "MB0071" indicating production in France in July of 2001. Bag body approximately 12" tall, 16.25" wide, 4.5" deep at base, with a 12.25" strap drop.
