Modern Italian Violin, Claudio Gamberini, Bologna, c. 1920, labeled LIUTAIO GAMBERINI CLAUDIO, length of two-piece back 14 in., 355 mm., with case. Certificate: Bein & Fushi, Incorporated, Chicago, March 21, 1981, (photocopy only). Repaired soundpost crack and saddle crack, inlaid patch in bridge area, repaired hairline cracks below treble ff and at lower treble edge. Repaired pegbox fracture, bushings. This was the concert instrument of the late Paul Vincent Morris.
