Louis Gabriel Eugène Isabey (French, 1803-1886) A Royal Banquet Signed "L. Isabey" l.r. Oil on canvas, 27 3/4 x 36 in. (70.5 x 91.4 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, retouch (including repaired tears), scattered craquelure with separating, surface grime. The lining is adhered with wax. The retouch is scattered dashes and strokes. The craquelure is stable, and more prevalent along the edges of the stretcher bars. The painting might benefit from cleaning.
