Margaret Tomkins (American, 1916-2002) Prophecy Signed and dated "Tomkins 1957" l. c., identified on a label and in an inscription on the reverse. Tempera on panel, 16 x 9 1/2 in. (40.5 x 24.0 cm), framed. Condition: Scattered retouch, subtle surface grime and/or bloom. The retouch is scattered dots. There are also several tiny abrasions. THe painting would benefit from cleaning.
