Geometric-carved Wooden Box, possibly Continental, early 19th century, round wooden form with padded sides covered in velvet, the top and bottom with geometric chip-carved designs, the top with leather hinged lid, (wear), ht. 5 1/2, dia. 8 1/4 in. most of leather hinges gone as well as the velvet pileand trim.
