Fancy Veneered Document Box, America, early 19th century, rectangular form with hinged lid, with figured and exotic wood veneers, the front with a fan-shaped design, diamond-shaped bone escutcheon, (small repairs), ht. 6 3/4, wd. 12, dp. 6 3/4 in. small patch on lid at rt. rear., some fine cracks to the veneers seem to be stable.
