Federal Mahogany Tall Clock, John Bailey Jr. , Hanover, Massachusetts, c. 1815, with reeded columns, 12 in. painted iron dial signed "John Bailey, Jr., Hanover," moon's age in the arch, eight-day, brass, time and strike movement with period pendulum and two cast iron weights, (imperfections), ht. 92 in. Fret top is probably an old replacement, dial relined including parts of signature, base is original with added screws for support, original hands and components.
