Justus DaLee (New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, 1793-1878) Five Family Portrait Miniatures. Unsigned. Watercolor, graphite, and ink half-length profile portraits, depicting a gentleman and his wife in a double portrait and three single portraits of their three young adult children, two young ladies and a young man, sizes ranging from 2 1/2 x 2 7/8-3 3/8 x 5 3/8 in., in likely original molded giltwood frames. Condition: Toning, one portrait of a young lady has been cut down on lower edge about 1/2 in. none of the five portraits has been laid down, the two portraits of the parents are housed in one frame together.
