Victorian Silver Plate Ewer, c. 1873, maker's mark HB, cylindrical, slightly domed lid with Dionysian cherub finial, body applied with wide chased and embossed band depicting Bacchic revelry, with short satyr mask spout, scroll handle, beaded rims, rim of lid engraved with nuptial presentation inscription dated 1873, ht. 8 3/4 in.
