Paint Decorated Poplar Dower Chest, probably Ohio, early 19th century, the molded lift-top above a dovetailed box with polychrome decoration of symmetrical arrangement of flowers and leaves and applied medial molding and three short thumbmolded drawers decorated with flowers and buds, all on similarly decorated turned feet, (very minor imperfections), ht. 31, lg. 48, dp. 20 1/2 in.
