Figural painting depicting a view of men (possibly merchants) on shoreline with horses, one drinking from woven basket on shoreline with dog next to rocky cliff side with flying seagulls. Ocean with scattered sailboats being watched by two other men with red caps and binoculars looking outward under a cloudy sky. Verso of canvas with stamp from Reeves & Sons, London. Framed 22.8" x 20.8". Unframed 18.25" x 24.25".
