Appliqued Cotton Patterson/Regester Family Quaker Album Quilt, made by a member of the Patterson/Regester family, Delaware/Chester County, Pennsylvania, c. 1850, the appliqued quilt top with sixty-four blocks of red and green printed calico motifs on a white cotton ground, including farm implements, flatware and tableware, water pitchers, scissors, floral, foliate, and geometric designs, the blocks framed by light blue sashing, outlining quilt stitches and diamond quilting on the borders, blue silk binding with ball fringe tassels applied on three edges, brown glazed cotton backing, (minor scattered stains), 88 x 85 in.
