American, 20th century. A pair of likely 1940's oak wood tall squared lamps decorated with three engraved cartouches on each side, each depicting one of the twelve astrological houses with painted figures and ornaments in relief, with tapered ivory linen shade. Indistinguishable stamps on bottom of one lamp. Height of wooden base approximately 20.5", height with shade approximately 33.5", width of base 7 1/8".
