Large Lenci-type Felt Spanish Dancer, Italy, c. 1930s, companion doll to previous lot, also with molded felt head and features, brown painted eyes looking to left, shading above, finely painted eyebrows, closed perky mouth with shaded coloring, black floss hair with braids to fall in back, swivel neck and arms, separated fingers, third and fourth joined, red silk dress with black velvet ribbon trim, black net overskirt, headdress with felt flowers securing mantilla, long slender legs, red felt shoes (one heel missing), doll ht. 26, to top of headdress, 29 in. Provenance: Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, Hartford, Connecticut.
