Pair of Bronze Dore Empire-style Nine Light Candelabra, late 19th century, with central classical oil lamp form sconce on tapered anthemion and leaftip capital, surrounded by four double-ended serpentine candle arms, the outer side ending in anthemion candle sconces, the inner end with trumpet-form taper sconces, on tapered standard topped by hound head masks, and mounted with winged herms, flat leaves, and anthemion, with similarly mounted square base, on anthemion-topped paw feet and shaped plinth base, ht. 29 in.
