Minton Parian Figure Commemorating the Crimean War, England, c. 1856, modeled as a winged female figure of Victory holding a tablet incised "Honour to the Brave" atop a column inscribed "Crimea" to its base, mounted on an octagonal plinth with paneled sides and fluted corners, each paneled side with relief of a battle title within a foliate garland, the figure impressed with Minton date symbol, (Victory missing one lower half of a wing, plinth with top rim heavily chipped and small chips along footrim), overall ht. 23 1/4 in.
