Federal Mahogany Inlaid Tall Case Clock, Aaron Willard, Boston, c. 1800, the hood with pierced fretwork joining string inlaid plinths topped by brass finials above the cornice molding and glazed tombstone door opening to a polychrome and gilt iron dial with floral decoration, seconds hand, and calendar aperture, inscribed "Aaron Willard, Boston" and having an eight-day brass weight-driven movement, all flanked by reeded brass stop-fluted columns, the waist with a molded tombstone door centering a conch shell bordered by stringing and flanked by reeded brass stop- fluted quarter columns, on conforming inlaid base also centering a conch shell above ogee bracket feet, refinished, (restoration), ht. 94 in.
