Tiger Maple Chest-on-Frame, probably Rhode Island, late 18th/early 19th century, the cove-molded top above the five graduated thumb-molded drawers ending in a similar heavy molding which rests on the frame with its arched skirt shaping, above cabriole legs which terminate in slipper feet, old refinish, replaced brass, (surface imperfections), ht. 47 1/4, wd. 38 1/4, dp. 19 in.
