Mochaware Flowerpot and Undertray, probably Yorkshire, c. 1800, exceptional two-piece pearlware flower pot and matching saucer banded in blue and brown slip with black slip-inlaid rouletting on each piece above fields of earth-colored encrustation, (one area of glaze and slip loss below the rolled rim of the pot as well as numerous glaze flakes on the interior and underside, hairlines), ht. 6 3/4 in. Provenance: Crispfarm Antiques, Oxfordshire, England; Jonathan Rickard.
