Pair of Grain Painted and Stenciled Side Chairs, Baltimore, c. 1825, the curving scrolled back crests above the sloping stiles and scrolled front seat rails on ring-turned tapering front legs joined by turned stretchers to the back straight legs, faux rosewood grain painting with neo-classical gold leaf images and gold striping simulating inlay, replaced caned seats, original surface, (abrasions and some paint loss), ht. 31 1/2, seat ht. 17 3/8 in.
