Nathaniel Currier, publisher (American, 1813-1888) CLIPPER SHIP DREADNAUGHT OFF TUSKAR LIGHT. 1856, (Conningham, 1144). Identified by inscriptions in the matrix. Lithograph with hand-coloring on paper, sheet size 21 1/4 X 28 1/2 in., in an eglomise mat within a molded black painted wood frame. Condition: Margins of 1 7/8 in. or more, hinged at the top, toning, a couple vertical light brown stains, scattered black stains in the margins, fading to inscriptions.
