Bryant Chapin (American (Massachusetts), 1859-1927). "Still Life with Many Fruits" - 1908, oil on canvas, signed lower left "Bryant Chapin 1908". Painting depicts a still life of fruit including peaches, apricots, pears, grapes, and berries, the berries handled with heavy impasto in a glass bowl at center with the other fruits surrounding it, the still life to a reflective flat surface with dark band of color to bottom and a background of mottled green to brown. Framed approximately 22" x 26", unframed approximately 13.125" x 17.25".
