Pair of matching very fine French Louis XVI style carved walnut armchairs or fauteuils with upholstered oval backs with beaded and guilloche border, scrolled arms with acanthus leaf tips and embrocated florals. Apron with cross ribboned motif, chairs raised on four tapered fluted legs with acanthus leaf tip capitals below floral patera blocks.
