Shaker Veneered Wood Trinket Box, Poland Hill Novitiate Order, Sabbathday Lake, Maine, probably 19th century, rectangular box with hinged lid covered with light and dark wood veneers in a simple geometric design, the interior lid fitted with a mirror and secured with green patterned paper strips, lift out tray with compartments, red printed cotton fabric on pincushion and two compartment covers, the whole lined with blue paper, (wear), ht. 3 7/8, wd. 11 1/4, dp. 8 in.
