Currier & Ives, publishers (American, 1857-1907) Lot of Two: American Homestead Summer and Winter Morning in the Country Identified by inscriptions in the matrix. Lithographs with hand-coloring on paper. The first: 1868, Conningham 171, rated 39 in the New Best Fifty, sheet size 10 1/8 x 14 in, framed; the second dated 1873, Conningham 6742, rated 14 in the New Best Fifty, retains The Old Print Shop framing label on the reverse, sheet size 9 7/8 x 13 7/8 in., framed. Condition: The first has margins of 1 in. or more and is in good condition, the second has margins of 3/4 in. or more and has a couple tears and repairs, toning and foxing.
