Federal Carved Mahogany Armchair, possibly New York, c. 1795-1800, the arched beaded crest rail above a shield-form back with pierced back centering a feathered plume flanked by drapery and scrolls set into a floral-carved demi-lune panel, the flanking molded and shaped arms on overupholstered seat and square tapering legs joined by stretchers, (restored), ht. 38 1/2, seat ht. 18 in.
