Painted Queen Anne Carved Maple Side Chair, probably Massachusetts, last half 19th century, the spooned and scroll carved crest rail above raked vasiform splat and molded stiles on the overupholstered seat and frontal scratch beaded cabriole legs ending in square pad feet joined to the rear chamfered legs by block vase and ring turned stretchers, translucent Spanish-brown painted surface, ht. 42, seat ht. 18 in.
