Gustave Louis Christophe Paul Dore (French, 1832-1883) Christ Entering Jerusalem Unsigned, partial label on the reverse. Charcoal or graphite with gouache on paper, 21 x 32 in. (52 x 81.5 cm), framed. Condition: Toning, not examined out of frame. According to the label on the reverse, this is a preliminary sketch for a larger oil painting that was eventually engraved by Alphonse Francois and reproduced as a print.
