Plume & Atwood Manufacturing Company (American, 1869-1965), late 19th century or 20th century. Victorian gilt-bronze mounted green and red marble whale oil floor lamp with a tapered form supporting an urn, mounted on four gilt bronze scrolled feet, with two foliated bands around the stem, and brass handles to the urn. Topped with a spherical opaque glass shade painted with a figural scene of a lyric female muse and a putti above gilt-accented gold acanthus leaves. Burner marked "P&A Duplex". Overall (to shade) approximate height 64.5", width 18", depth 18".
