A fine walnut pianoforte having a square case with rounded front corners and shaped music folding music stand; the hinged lid opening to reveal the openwork and sculpted soundboard above the lyre-shape pedal. Raised on four turned and octagonal shaped legs terminating on casters. Gilt bronze medallion on front "MAGAZIN VON PIANOS & HARMONIUMS, A.W. ZIMMERMANN IN DARMSTADT'. Piano is accompanied by an unassociated piano stool. Approximate height 35.5", width 61", depth 30.75".
