Meissen (German, founded 1710- ), early 20th century. A fine hand painted porcelain tea and coffee set in the variation of the 'Neu Bradenstein' pattern comprising a covered coffee pot with pink rose bud finial, a covered tea pot with yellow rose bud finial, covered sugar bowl with pink rose bud finial and a handled creamer. Each piece is marked with blue cross swords having slightly curved blades underglaze and colorless impressed mark. None of the pieces are marked as a factory manufacturer second. Approximate height of coffee pot 10.12". Approximate height of teapot 5.5", width 9.75"(handle to spout). Approximate height of sugar bowl 3.75", diameter 3.87". Approximate height of creamer 5", width 5.25" (handle to spout). Note: This pattern is very similar to the one on the Hofservice used by Kaiser Wilhelm II.
