Continental, 18th century. A marquetry inlaid petite commode having a rectangular top with oval marquetry medallion depicting urn with flowers and birds and front chamfered corners above a conforming case with four drawers, each inlaid with rinceau and having individual locking mechanisms, flanked to each side by fluted angles and raised on square tapered fluted legs. Approximate height 32.87", width 35.5", depth 18.12".
