20th century. Large and heavy figural garden wall fountain with rich verdigris (or verdi gras) patina throughout, with semicircle basin with acanthus leaf tip rim, basin centered by mirrored s-scrolls, basin crested by figural group comprising central lion's head flanked on either side by two sweet-faced putti who hands are clasped over the lion's head, the lion's mouth pierced to accommodate plumbing, base with central rocaille or shell motif with mirrored dolphins at either side, apparently unmarked. Overall approximately 66.5" x 39".
