French, 18th century. Louis XV gilt bronze mounted walnut commode having a carved serpentine rouge marble top above a bombe case fitted with and two long conforming drawers inlaid with intersecting crossbanding, the bombé sides with conforming inlay, the angles mounted with bronze leafy cabochon and chutes on cabriole legs trailing to the leafy cast sabots. Approximate height 36.75", width 51.75", depth 25.25".
