Horizontally aligned landscape painting depicting capriccio scene, likely in Central Italy, with figures including soldiers and peasants lounging near equestrian statue and water fountain in the foreground, with Corinthian Order columns and architecture in the midground, with rotunda and portico as well as Roman archways in the background, with cumulous clouds in bright blue sky overhead. Framed approximately 32" x 41.5". Unframed approximately 27.5" x 37.75".
