Francisco de Gali (Spanish, 1880-1965), "First Exposicion de la Industria Hotelera y de la Alimentacion, Barcelona"-1927, lithograph in colors, signed and dated in print at lower lef t" f. gali", with inscription in lower center margin "Ira Exposicion de la Industria Hotelera y de la Alimentacion, Palacios de Montjvich del 15 al 30 de Octvbre 1927, Barcelona, Asociacion de Hoteleros y Sus Similares" and "Artes Graficas S.A. Sucesores de Henrich y Cia Barna". Large scale art nouveau poster advertising "The Exhibition of the Hospitality Industry and Food", depicting a classical nude beauty with draping robes, she holds a horn to her mouth and a cornucopia in her left arm, she stands within a wreath of fish, game birds, mushrooms and fruit before a three-masted ship with flags. Framed approximately 49" x 36". Sight approximately 41.5" x 29". Provenance: The Estate of Richard and Merle Haber; whereby acquired by present owner.
