Chinese, 19th century. A Chinese Export porcelain teapot of cylindrical form with straight spout to one side opposed by reeded and twisted applied handle decorated with relief flowers as fixture to pot body, the whole with white ground bearing underglaze blue laurel leaf wreaths to either side surrounding floral embellishment and as rings to topside surrounding pinecone finial. Unmarked. Approximate height 5.125", width spout to handle 9.875", diameter of body 5.5".
