Salvador Dalí (Spanish, 1904-1989), "Fille de Minos" from l'art d'aimer d'Ovide-1976, lithograph in colors, signed and dated in plate at lower right "Dali 1976", edition noted in graphite in lower left margin "173/250", with watermark to sheet in lower left margin, with dry stamp to lower left margin "GPAI", signed in graphite in lower right margin. Figural abstract print depicting a scene from the Roman Poet Ovid's (Roman, 43 BC - 18 AD) 8 AD narrative poem " The Metamorphoses" with Phaedra, daughter of Minos and Pasiphaë, draped in blue robes and Theseus, the King of Athens, who holds a sparsely leafed reed in his hands, with an olive tree in the midground and a palatial home or palace in the distance. Framed approximately 32.25" x 36.25". Sight approximately 26.75" x 20.5". Provenance: From the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
