Spanish Colonial, 18th century possibly earlier. A carved and polychromed wood Santo sculpture or revultos, likely of pine wood, depicting a male figure standing at full length square on two feet wearing draping robes with both arms bent at the elbow and holding items, the right hand with a box or thick book, the figure with bowl cut hair reaching down neck and with pointy nose and bulbous eyes, the sculpture with remnants of green and red paint, especially to back. Approximately 20.75" tall, 6.625" x 5" deep.
