REVOLUTIONARY WAR PAY VOUCHER SIGNED J. LAWRENCE & CHECK SIGNED BY L. FAIRCHILD DATED AUG. 31, 1865:pay voucher dated June 7, 1780; John Lawrence was Revolutionary War hero. This voucher was signed when he was treasurer of Connecticut. Union General Lucius Fairchild (1831-1896) lost an arm at the battle of Gettysburg. He became Secretary of State and Governor of Wisconsin.
