WRIGHT OF BIRMINGHAM, ENGLISH MAHOGANY TALL CASE CLOCK, EARLY 19TH CENTURY, H 90", W 20 1/2":Swan-neck pediment above arched glass door flanked by turned columns, moon phase dial and Roman numerals, seconds hand, two-key wind, with pendulum and two weights, key and winder; the case having satinwood string inlay, diamond-form inlaid escutcheon, a scalloped lower door flanked by quarter columns. Having two labels at the interior upper left behind works; the works stamped "Wright, Birmingham". Ex. Estate Jerry Wentworth, Rochester Hills, MI and Ex. Collection.
