AMERICAN JASPER MAHOGANY SECRETARY DESK, 20TH CENTURY:having broken pediment with center finial above two shelf cabinet with glass and lattice frame doors; with slant top opening to 6 cubicles on each side of a small square cabinet and hinged door above three narrow drawers across full width of piece, brass pulls and slant top supports; mechanically retracting wood slats support writing surface from underneath; below desk are four serpentine front full width drawers with hanging brass pulls all on ogee bracket feet.
