BRASS HAND IRON & TRIVET, 18 TH TO EARLY 19 TH C, 2 PCS. , H 6" - 11", W 7" - 11":4" - 7" D; iron has leather wrapped handle; Triton figures at either end; inscribed "Maria Therefria Pereolt 1815" on access door for hot coals with the letters "I.P." cast inside coal chamber. The complete iron except for the bottom surface is ornately engraved with grapes, leaf, vine and beaded designs. The trivet has wrought iron legs and stretcher with a brass pierced design top surface with a turned wood handle.
