RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT & CHAMPLEVE SALT CELLAR, SIGNED 'ADLER', MOSCOW, 1877, H 1 1/4", DIA 1 7/8":Round with tapering sides, stylized foliage about in shades of bright blue and green with black accents. The underside stamped 88 enclosed (.916), assayer's mark is partially rubbed, probably B.C. (Viktor Savinkov) over 1877, St. George, and unidentified maker's mark, appears to be "Adler" enclosed, possibly for Maria Adler (see photo).
