Chromolithography by Julius Bien (American, 1826-1909), published in New York in 1860 by Roe Lockwood & Son. Print depicts an American Bald Eagle resting on a rocky outcrop with a fish in its claws, with a mountainside lake in the background with a sailboat. Inscribed below image lower left "Drawn from Nature by J.J. Audubon, F.R.S.E.L.S.", lower center "White headed Eagle, Falco Leucocephalus, Linn, Mate, Yellow Cat Fish", and lower right "Chromolithy by J. Bien, New York, 1860". Framed 41.5" x 54.7". Plate size 24.8" x 37.4".
