AMERICAN CAST IRON MATCH HOLDER, MATCH SAFE, AND A PEWTER TOP HAT, 1880-1990, THREE, H 1 5/8"-6 1/2":Includes one cast iron double match holder, H 4", W 3 5/8", designed as a wall plaque, with two decorative urns; one cast iron match safe plaque, H 6 1/2", W 4", with human face & horns, and open leaves worked design at top; and one pewter top hat, H 1 5/8", (crack, glue to top). Circa 1880-1890. Ex. Collection of the Kingman Museum of Natural History, Battle Creek, MI. Donated by The Estate of Susan Stebbins Stark, Lansing, MI, Circa 1938.
